Whilst the works were being carried out the bar restaurant and function rooms were refurbished, this enabled us to install new lighting throughout these areas and work with contractors, who installed a new ceiling in the respective areas. Whilst the project was ongoing we were at all times in communication with the manager of the club to ensure that the health and safety of all club house employees and customers was adhered to.

Stage one was an overhaul of the trade counter and general office areas, for this we installed new lighting, which incorporated emergency lighting, as well as helping update their IT infrastructure. Stage two of the works consisted of a new mezzanine floor to increase stock capacity for this we had to alter and install new fluorescent lighting within the warehouse area, we recommended that they install motion detectors on the first floor to help reduce energy consumption as this area does not have constant through traffic. The works were carried out on time and to a high standard.

Ratcatchers Barn Broughton

Five Star electrical services were contracted to carry out a high spec installation to this Grade 2 listed barn conversion. Throughout the project we had to liaise with other contractors and worked closely with the customers to ensure that their dream home was to a standard that we have come to expect. As well as the usual power and lighting which is normally found in a domestic premise, we had to work closely with Bang & Olufsen of Northampton which has been installed throughout the property and fitted by us to a high standard. The customer requirements was for a lot of down lighting and exterior lighting to the property, we tried to where possible use low energy lamps and fittings. We also used wireless lighting technology within various rooms of the property which has also assisted with energy saving. Situated within the garden room we were presented with the challenge to wire up electric roof windows, this was carried out using stainless steel conduit which was within the keeping of the room. CCTV was installed to the front of the development which can be seen from any television set throughout, ensuring the security of the residents. A new item which Five Star Electrical had to contend with was the setting up and calibration of a rain water harvest tank which is sited in the front garden. Overall this was an exciting and very demanding project for us to carry out and any problems which arose were quickly and efficiently remedied.
